Know the facts.

1.   You are NOT required by law to obtain more than one estimate.
2.   You may select the auto body shop of your choice.
3.   Only you, the owner can authorize repairs on your vehicle.
4.   Your insurance company wants your vehicle accurately repaired and they want you to be completely satisfied with its repairs.
5.   Improper repairs may jeopardize the safety of you and your passengers as well as the value of your vehicle.
6.   New manufacturing technologies and design have dramatically changed the methods for accurate repairs. Highly trained
     technicians and specialized equipment are essential for accurate repairs.
   
7.   The auto repair industry is not regulated by any state or federal agency.   Any one experienced or not can own or operate an
     auto body shop.
8.   All "Auto Body Shops" are not created equal. Do not assume that all auto body shops utilize the proper equipment or employ
     certified auto body repair technicians. Evaluate for yourself the capabilities of the auto repair facility you select to repair your
     vehicle.
9.   Auto repair estimates will often vary and may not reflect the final cost of the vehicle restoration.  Additional damage may be hidden
     that can not be detected until the vehicle is disassembled.
10.  Always request a written estimate with a detailed break down of cost.
